First Sleepover

The boys had their first official sleep over. Their friend Kyla came over and stayed the night! They were SO excited! It took them a little while to fall asleep, but they really had a great time! Kyla was such a good little helper. She was dressed before we even got out of bed and was trying to get Ryan dressed when we came in. So cute!

Stone Zoo

Ryan and I went to the Stone Zoo in Boston. We went with Jamie and the gang. The zoo was on the small side, but it was perfect for an afternoon trip. The weather was perfect and the kids had a great time!

(I stole these pics from Jamie's blog, so they are really big...click on them if you want the full pic)

Monsters vs. Aliens

Did I ever mention that Jamie is awesome? Well, she is! She always hooks us up! Her husband Jarod works at RedHat and they do some stuff with Dreamworks, so we all went to the movie theater to see Monsters vs. Aliens for free! Thanks Jarod! It was a 3D movie and I was really surprised that the kids kept the glasses on the whole time! They were all so good during the movie. There were definitely some scary parts, but they made it through. It was really only at the end that Ryan wanted to go home. I'd say though, that they did really great being this was their first time in a movie theater. The movie was cute and I would highly recommend it!

Rye Beach and Museum

It was so beautiful out today! We took Fred to Rye Beach so he could just play and run around. He loved it! I love this time of the season when Fred can just run free. He gets along so well with other dogs too. We're going to try to do this as often as possible since Fred has a lot of energy to burn. We also brought Ryan's kite. There wasn't too much wind, but we did get it up a few times. The boys loved it! After the beach, we went to the Children's Museum of New Hampshire. The kids had a great time. The place was cute...a little on the smaller side. I love having the membership...all these places are free!

mmmmmaple syrup

Jamie and I went to a class at the Beaver Brook Association where they taught us how to tap trees and and make syrup. It was so interesting! We are going to tap a few of her trees and hopefully we can get some syrup out of it. Did you know that it takes 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup!? No wonder it's so expensive!
